1 dead in I-78 crash near Berks-Lehigh County border, cops say (UPDATE)

Hamburg police confirmed the fatality Thursday morning, March 19, 2026 and are urging drivers to plan alternative routes as traffic piles up near Fourth Street.

One person was killed Thursday morning in a crash along Interstate 78 near the Lehigh County border in Berks County, police said.
