After Mark Shay’s kids grew up, the family vacations at their Poconos home grew infrequent.
“We kind of said, ‘You know, let’s see if we can get a few bucks out of this house,’” recalled Shay. In 2019, he and his wife listed it on Vrbo as a short-term rental.
