Allentown arson: Man faces 40 years for row home blaze that displaced 31

Allentown firefighters assisted by neighboring fire departments tackle a row-home blaze late on the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, in the city's 700 block of Cedar Street. A 61-year-old city man this week admitted to intentionally setting the blaze during a domestic dispute, trapping a woman in the basement and displacing dozens of residents.

An Allentown man pleaded guilty to a 2024 arson blaze that left over 30 people homeless the day after Christmas, and now faces decades behind bars.
