Blizzard warning for Southeast Pa. until Monday evening – gusts to hit 45 mph
On Sunday at 2:56 a.m. a blizzard warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 6 p.m. for Eastern Montgomery as well as Delaware, Philadelphia and Bucks counties.
"Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 16 and 22 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph," explains the weather service. "Snowfall rates could exceed 2 inches per hour. Locally higher snowfall amounts and significant drifting of snow possible."
