Drunk driver who killed pedestrian in hit-and-run crash sentenced to prison, officials say
A man who drove drunk and killed a pedestrian in a 2023 hit-and-run crash in Warren County was sentenced Tuesday to six years in state prison, authorities said.
Jefferson A. Chimbo-Pelaez, 29, of Hackettstown, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree death by auto, according to a statement from the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
