Freeze warning issued for Central Pa. for Tuesday

The National Weather Service released a freeze warning at 1:14 a.m. on Monday valid for Tuesday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Southern Centre, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Cambria, Blair, Somerset and Bedford counties.

The weather service comments, "Take steps now to protect tender plants and vegetation from the cold. Unprotected early season plantings may freeze."
