Lehigh University football promotes from within to fill head coaching vacancy
Lehigh University has elevated defensive coordinator Rich Nagy to become the 31st head football coach in program history, the school announced Monday.
Nagy, who oversaw one of the top defensive units in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision last season, succeeds Kevin Cahill and takes over a staff that was recently named the Dick Biddle Patriot League Coaching Staff of the Year after a 12–0 regular season in 2025.
