Lehigh Valley small mammal study: Wildlands Conservancy documenting rare species

A trail camera captures an image of a long-tailed weasel as part of Wildlands Conservancy's efforts to inventory small mammals found in the Lehigh Valley region, with a focus on those that are conservation priorities.

Animals such as white-tailed deer, black bear and red foxes are common and often spotted inhabitants of the Lehigh Valley. But the region is also home to a number of smaller mammals that residents rarely, if ever, see.
