Resident alleges nepotism in Pohatcong’s hiring practices. Township denies wrongdoing.

The latest complaint raised by a 24-year resident of Pohatcong Township alleges that there is a firewall that is making it difficult for qualified candidates to be considered for jobs within the township.

A Pohatcong Township resident says she was denied an interview for an assistant clerk position in 2025 despite having 40 years of experience, while the job went to a candidate related to the business administrator.
