Traffic deaths in Pa. dropped last year but still topped 1,000: PennDOT

Pennsylvania recorded its lowest number of traffic fatalities since the state began tracking crashes in 1928, with 1,047 people killed on roadways last year, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
