Update: Be prepared for dense fog in Northwest Pa. until 3 a.m. Friday

An updated weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 1:26 a.m. for dense fog until 3:30 a.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County.

"Areas of dense fog will impact near the immediate lakeshore of Lake Erie through early this morning. Visibilities near Lake Erie may drop to a quarter mile or less and be variable at times rolling off the lake. People are urged to use caution while driving in Downtown Cleveland through sunrise this morning," adds the weather service.
