Update: Freeze warning active for Lackawanna and Luzerne counties until Sunday morning
An updated freeze warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:29 a.m. in effect until 9 a.m. for Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.
"Sub-freezing temperatures and heavy frost," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Clouds have been slow to clear this evening, but are expected to thin out late in most areas. It will only take a couple hours of clear skies for frost and freezing conditions to develop before sunrise."
