Update: Prepare for fog in Northeast Pa. until Saturday morning
The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 3:49 a.m. on Saturday for fog until 7 a.m. for Northern Wayne and Southern Wayne as well as Bradford, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Pike counties.
"Moist conditions will allow areas of patchy dense fog to persist early this morning. Be prepared for rapid fluctuations in visibility. Also, temperatures will drop to near freezing in the higher elevations early this morning. Exposed wet surfaces, such as bridges, may contain patchy ice. Exercise caution if traveling early this morning," says the weather service.
