Update: Southwest Pa. placed under a winter weather advisory Wednesday – wind gusts up to 35 mph
The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday valid for Wednesday between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana.
The weather service states, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
