Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Erie County will expire at 4 p.m.
The warning was for Erie County.
"The storms which prompted the warning have weakened and no longer appear to be severe and pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms," comments the National Weather Service.
