Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Southwest Pa. will be expiring at 12:30 a.m.
The warning was issued for Allegheny, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
"The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire," says the National Weather Service.
