Update: Weather alert in place for Northeast Pa. until Monday morning
An updated special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 2:07 a.m. until 7 a.m. for Northern Wayne as well as Bradford and Susquehanna counties.
"Temperatures are settling around freezing as cooler air overspreads the area, with many roadways still wet from prior rainfall. Spotty freezing drizzle or flurries may also occur early this morning. Travelers should exercise caution for potential patchy ice, especially in higher elevations, as well as exposed surfaces like bridges and overpasses," describes the weather service.
