Update: Winter storm warning affecting Southwest Pa. from Sunday to Tuesday – may reach 12 inches of snow
At 7:11 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service released an updated winter storm warning valid from Sunday 1 a.m. until Tuesday 1 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana.
The weather service states, "Total snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches, with locally higher amounts possible on the highest elevations. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
