Update: Winter storm warning issued for Southern Erie until early Wednesday morning – up to 8 inches of snow
On Tuesday at 4 a.m. an updated winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Wednesday at 5 a.m. for Southern Erie.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph this morning."
