Update: Winter weather advisory active for Southwest Pa. until early Tuesday morning – wind gusts reaching 35 mph
An updated winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 11:46 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 4 a.m. for Lawrence, Butler, Beaver, Allegheny, Armstrong, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
The weather service states to be ready for, "Snow showers. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch or higher in heavier snow showers. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
