Weather alert for lake effect snow in Northern Erie and Southern Erie Tuesday midday
A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 10:53 a.m. for lake effect snow until 12:30 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie.
"At 10:53 a.m., radar indicated an intense lake effect snow band along a line extending from Erie to near Findley Lake. This intense lake effect snow band was nearly stationary," explains the weather service.
