N.J. man gets decades in prison in fatal shooting of a woman and her dog
A man has been sentenced to prison in the fatal shooting of a woman and her dog in Warren County.
Anthony J. Garvin, 34, of Netcong, received a 42-year state prison sentence on Tuesday, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Thursday. He previously accepted a plea deal, admitting to the charges of murder, aggravated assault and cruelty to animals.
