Pa. art teacher agrees to pay $200K in Medicare fraud case
A Bucks County art teacher has agreed to pay $200,000 to settle a claim that she falsely billed Medicare for her classes to the elderly.
Court records say Irina Segal claimed to have provided one-on-one occupational therapy art classes to seniors in assisted living and similar facilities. She provided group art classes instead, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s office.
